Review | Stardust-the theatrical dining experience

Hello Everyone

I'm pretty sure the "Happy New Year" ship has sailed a while ago, but I do need to wish you all the very best for the year ahead and thank you at the same time for all the support you have shown us in the last year.  Every year we learn something new, fail at a few things maybe but then eventually grow a little bit after each experience good or bad.  All in all I couldn't be happier with where things are headed for us here at OFS.  So make this one count,  bet on yourself,  take a risk and good luck with your future endeavours.

Late last year,  My friends and I thought it would be fun to have our own little "year end function" as I did not even get one of those from my day job (gotta keep it moving I guess).  We decided to try something completely different and made a booking at the theatrical dining restaurant 'Stardust' in Cape Town.

On arrival, I wasn't really sure what the night held for us, so we ordered appetizers and chowed each others ears off until the lights went out and our waitress, who was just taking our order, was up on stage doing a Whitney Houston number.  The night, from there, went straight into table dancing, sing alongs and just pure banter between a group of friends.

A little more about Stardust to follow.

ENTERTAINMENT

The waiters/waitresses are all graduates/students of the performing arts here in Cape town.  Stardust has made it possible for them to now study and have employment while doing what they love all at the same time.  We were taken on so much theatrical journeys through out the night with them getting into so much different genres of music, leaving everyone present, very entertained and on their feet.

ALL IN ALL...

We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to our readers :)
